New York--The UN is very big on conferences supposed to improve the human condition. The Women Deliver conference held in London, U.K. from October 18-20, 2007 was supposed to have discussed maternal health and how mortality and morbidity can be reduced, particularly in Third World countries, by the provision of adequate nutrition, clean water, good health and obstetrical care for mothers, plus post-natal care for their babies. Instead, the conference turned out to be a pro-abortion promotion: 35 of the 98 sessions focused on the provision of abortion and only two on newborn health.
