U.S. Army purchases AEDs for Iraq and U.S. locations.

2004 MAY 24 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Cardiac Science, Inc., (DFIB) announced that the U.S. Army has purchased 60 Powerheart G3 automated public-access defibrillators (AEDs) for deployment at coalition locations in Iraq and an additional 48 AEDs have been purchased by the military for deployment at bases in the U.S.

In addition, the Department of Defense, Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DOD/DDESS) has purchased 79 AEDs for deployment at military base elementary and secondary schools in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Cuba, and Guam.
