BENEFIT CONCERT GRATIFIES MANY TORNADO VICTIMS.(CAPITAL REGION)

After the tornado rammed Mechanicville in May, here's what Carol Guilianelli's home needed:

``New roof, windows, siding,'' she said at Thursday night's Rock 'N' Rebuild benefit concert. ``Front porch. Car. Trees.''

Most of the work is done, but Saratoga Avenue isn't the same, what with homes razed and neighbors scattered about. Some of them were elderly and had never lived elsewhere. It is difficult to get used to their absence.

``I think the material things will get done. It's the emotional you worry about,'' said Guilianelli, 45, a native. ``But this means a lot.''
