Fed: Vodafone could face penalties if found guilty of inciting=2

Mr MAHER has told The Daily Telegraph a man approached him last week saying he mightpull an illegal stunt for publicity at the match.

He says he told the man Vodafone would love to be involved in anything that's goodfor the company -- but he insists he didn't know what the man was planning.

He says Vodafone will keep its promise to pay any fine incurred as a result of the action.

Superintendent WILSON says police will investigate the matter if Vodafone goes aheadwith the payments.

A 22-year-old Lane Cove man will appear in court later this month, charged with wilfuland obscene exposure, resisting police and entering a playing field without reasonableexcuse.

A second man's been given an infringement notice for acting in an indecent manner andentering a playing field without a reasonable excuse.
